Bitta, designed by Denis Santachiara (2019), represents another transformation of a highly versatile piece of furniture. Inspired by the maritime world, its sculptural form recalls the profile of a traditional mooring bollard, giving the piece a distinctive and playful character.
Designed to be used as a soft and comfortable seat, Bitta conceals a self-inflating single bed inside. The integrated electric inflator/deflator allows the bed to be quickly and easily deployed, making it an ideal solution for flexible living spaces or unexpected guests.
The padding is made of expanded polyurethane and polyester wadding, ensuring comfort and support, while the removable Lycra upholstery adds elasticity, durability, and vibrant color. Functional yet expressive, Bitta combines innovative design with practicality, offering a clever and visually striking transformable solution.
