In October 2022, Mobilia and USM Modular Furniture brought together four young Genoese businesses under the age of 35 in Piazza Luccoli: TUG Store, Commonplace, Buonvento and Tonowhere Studio, which chose to launch their businesses in Genoa’s historic centre following the pandemic.
Four different projects united by a desire to create new opportunities for connection and bring the city’s commercial and creative fabric to life. For the occasion, they brought small corners of their worlds to the piazza, expressing their stories through the possibilities of the USM Haller modular system.
The evening continued at Palazzo Tursi, the seat of the Municipality of Genoa, with Lowtopic Concerto x Stellare, a performance presented by Electropark. Together with USM, Mobilia also designed the event spaces, accompanying the transition from the piazza to the institutional setting with a new dialogue between design, music and contemporary culture.
A project that brought together independent businesses, modular design and cultural production, highlighting the creative energies that animate Genoa and its historic centre.
