In May 2022, Mobilia hosted an evening dedicated to The Genoeser, a young Genoese collective that interprets the city through illustrations and the work of local graphic designers and creatives.
For the occasion, the Rampa, designed by the Castiglioni brothers and now produced by Karakter, was transformed into a display stand for early editions of The Genoeser prints. Around this iconic design element, two of the illustrators involved in the early publications took turns in a live drawing session, creating small, previously unreleased covers made especially for the event.
An encounter between design and illustration created to tell the story of the Rampa through a local lens, putting it in dialogue with the creativity of Genoese illustrators. An opportunity to enhance design through local voices.
